About Our Photos & Listings

About Our Photos

Our photos are NOT to scale. Please consult an item’s description for detailed measurements on any particular jewelry item. If you need more detailed measurements or have any questions about a particular item, please feel free to email us at info@citrusavenue.net.

About Our Listings

We try to keep our listings as objective as possible and tend to stay away from superlatives and subjective terms when we describe our pieces. However, we love jewelry and understand that oftentimes you need to get a ‘feel’ for a piece in order to decide whether it’ll work for your purposes.

If you have questions that can’t be answered via our description or if you need more information from us to determine whether a particular item will achieve the look you want, please email us.  We’ll do our best to help out.

Condition Notes

New Jewelry: New jewelry listed on this site is exactly that – new and direct from the wholesaler.

Vintage and Gently Used Jewelry: Our vintage jewelry spans from the 1930s up through the 1990s. ‘Vintage,’ for the purposes of our site, generally means pieces that are 20+ years old. Gently used pieces that are not necessarily ‘vintage’ will be labeled as either ‘gently used’ or ‘contemporary’ in the item descriptions.

If there are any flaws/dings/dents or wear and tear on vintage jewelry, beyond what is usual and customary, it will be disclosed.  And please, by all means, ask questions.  If you need more information from us than we’ve already disclosed or need us to take additional photos of an item, just drop us an email (info@citrusavenue.net) and we will do our utmost to oblige.

PLEASE NOTE:  NONE of the metal in our jewelry is considered hypoallergenic. If you have metal sensitivities, we strongly recommend that you NOT purchase from us.

Our items, both used and new, are constructed of base metals and base metal alloys, unless specifically identified as gold, gold-plated, Sterling or silver. The terms ‘gold-tone’ and ‘silver-tone’ refer strictly to the color of the metal, not its content. The terms, ‘gold,’ ‘gold-plated,’ ‘silver,’ ‘Sterling,’ ‘Sterling silver,’ and numeric identifications of silver content (i.e., ‘.925’ for Sterling silver) are used only when the item’s construction includes these two precious metals.

In other words, ‘gold’ means real gold, ‘silver’ and ‘Sterling’ mean real silver. Any items described as ‘gold-tone’ or ‘silver-tone’ are strictly costume/fashion jewelry and contain no precious metals.
