Chunky Cherry Amber Bakelite Necklace, 27 Inch Length

Chunky and substantial 27 inch long cherry amber Bakelite bead necklace.   The larger of the oblong beads on this necklace measure nearly 1 1/8 inch in length and 7/8 inch wide.  The smaller beads measure approximately 9/16 long and approximately 3/8 inch wide.  Each bead is separated by a silver tone wrapped wire spacer and this piece closes with a barrel clasp.  There’s about a 1/4 inch worth of play on either side of the clasp where the beading string shows when this piece is worn.  Whether this is stretching or intentional (to allow room to fasten the clasp – the beads are quite chunky), we cannot say.  We’ve taken several photos – please click on the picture at left to see different views.  This piece is in very good condition and tests positive with Simichrome polish.
