Vintage two strand iridescent brown aurora borealis glass bead necklace, featuring round cut beads with clear glass spacers, measuring 14 inches in length, with an additional 2 inches of wearable length available via extender chain. The beads are graduated in size, with the largest beads measuring approximately 1/4 inch in diameter and the smallest beads measuring 3/16 inch in diameter. The depth of drop at the front of the bib, when on, measures approximately 3/4 inch.
The matching bead cluster earrings measure approximately 1 inch in diameter and show only age-appropriate wear to the backs.
Both necklace and earrings have gold-tone findings with no manufacturer’s marks. Best guess to age is circa 1970s.
